Singapore dollar amongst top 10 currencies processed during Black Friday

The Black Friday-Cyber Monday period saw a total of 465 million transactions.

The Singapore Dollar (SGD) was amongst the top 10 currencies processed by payment platform Stripe during the Black Friday-Cyber Monday (BFCM) period, which saw a total of 465 million transactions and a payment volume exceeding $41.58b (US$31b)

SGD ranked 7th amongst the top 10, with the US Dollar, British Pound, Euro, Australian Dollar, and Canadian Dollar taking the top 5 spot.

Meanwhile, other Asian currencies were part of the top 10, namely the Japanese Yen and Hong Kong at 6th and 8th respectively.

Top-selling cities were Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, London, and San Francisco, with average spending per wallet up 4.3% compared to 2023.
