Fraser & Neave refutes US$4b Vinamilk stake acquisition reports

The company disowned claims of any offer letter.

Reports began circulating of F&N offering US$4b for a 45.1% stake in Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company or Vinamilk from State Capital Investment Corporation, leading the company to release a statement negating the claims.

According to a statement by F&N, it has not made any offer letter to Vinamilk or SCIC with regard to any possible offer to purchase the stake.

F&N also advised its shareholders to exercise caution when dealing with its shares, as well as refrain from taking action on the basis of these reports.
