freshpod launches first autonomous food kiosk
Each order receipt includes a breakdown of macros and calories.
freshpod has launched its first autonomous food kiosk at Ascent in Singapore Science Park, with plans for a broader rollout across Singapore.
The kiosk offers a quick, nutritious option for meals, featuring customisable or chef-curated bowls with over 20 fresh ingredients and seven specialty dressings, all stored in a temperature-controlled environment.
This launch follows a six-week pop-up that received positive feedback from customers seeking affordable and convenient meal options, according to freshpod co-founder and CEO Joe Ryan.
After over 200 machine trials and three years of refining the technology, the kiosks now feature an intuitive interface, allowing customers to choose or customise their meals.
The kiosks accept various payment options, including contactless methods, and provide order updates via text. freshpod also offers a membership with rewards and referral benefits.
Additionally, in line with Singapore’s Healthier SG initiative, each order includes a breakdown of macros and calories, helping customers manage their dietary goals.
