Jumbo Group hit by ransomware attack

The company plans to boost cybersecurity post-incident.

Jumbo Group reported that it suffered a ransomware attack but did not disclose the date of the incident.

The company stated that it took immediate action to identify, contain, and address the incident and reported it to the authorities, including the Singapore Police Force and the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore. 

Investigations are ongoing.

Based on preliminary investigations, neither the company nor its external experts have observed any evidence of data exfiltration.

After the incident, Jumbo Group intends to consult industry experts to bolster its cybersecurity measures.

The incident hasn't had any notable impact on Jumbo Group's business operations.
