OSIM promises to control hormones with its new harmonic air purifier

Sounds like a great birthday or anniversary gift idea.

OSIM launches uVenus, the world's first ambient purifier with a therapeutic mood light and clinically-proven music that modulates hormone production and soothes brainwaves for a healthier home enviroment.

The OSIM uVenus is more than just an air-purifier, it creates a healthier and safer ambient environment beneficial to both young and old. The ambient purifier has 3 sets of scientifically researched mood light programmes – RELAX, BALANCE and ENERGISE ― developed by physicist and mood light specialist, Anadi A. Martel to modulate the production of certain hormones and brain chemicals to help you relax. Adding to that is a series of sounds created by Dr Jeffery Thompson to soothe the brainwaves and enable deep relaxation using wave frequency.

Its unique and functional design won the prestigious Red Dot design award in 2011. The Red Dot design award is a highly respected global product design competition for which the uVenus won in the Product Design category. Based in Europe, this coveted and world-renowned award, with a distinguished 56-year history, is an international seal of outstanding product design and quality.

Human activities, such as manufacturing and the burning of fossil fuels, cause changes in the chemical composition of ambient air through the release of chemical and industrial pollutants into the atmosphere.

“We cannot control the ambient air, but we can improve our home environment with cleaner air, soothing light and therapeutic music. For parents with young children, having the uVenus in the home gives us peace of mind knowing that our family is protected from the harmful pollutants in the air. The uVenus is so quiet that you never know it’s there working its purifying magic!” said Ms Lynn Tan, Assistant General Manager, OSIM.

The OSIM uVenus retails at introductory special S$698 (UP$798) and is available at these OSIM outlets: Airport T3 (Transit), Chair Inspirations (ION L4), Chair Inspirations (Marina Bay Sands L1), Compass Point (L3), IMM (L2), Marina Bay Sands (B2), Nex (L3), Parkway Parade (B1), Plaza Singapura (L3), Takashimaya (B1), TANGS (B1), Tampines Mall (B1), VivoCity (L1). OSIM uVenus is also available online at www.OSIM.com.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
