Tripartite MoU signed to expand RAS accessibility in Singapore
One key focus area is research into tele-surgical education and training.
A tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed to advance robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) in clinical research and application, surgical education, and healthcare innovation in Singapore.
The agreement brings together Cornerstone Robotics, the National Healthcare Group PTE LTD, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
The three parties will focus on research into tele-surgical education and training, and cost-effectiveness studies to support broader adoption of RAS in clinical practice.
The MoU was signed during the opening of CHI Innovate 2025 and was witnessed by the country’s Minister for Health, Ong Ye Kung.
