Singapore ranks 9th amongst top non-European travel alternatives

The United Arab Emirates topped the list with a perfect score and 19,700 hotels.

Singapore has been ranked ninth amongst the top non-European travel alternatives, according to a new study by influencer marketing platform Heepsy.

The city-state earned a travel rating of 68, supported by a high safety score of 77, a mild 26°C average temperature, and 544 hotels catering to international visitors.

The report also highlighted 875 tourist activities available across Singapore and noted that the country has generated 2.3 million Instagram posts.

The study assessed destinations outside Europe as alternatives to increasingly crowded European hotspots. Evaluations were based on five factors: safety, hotel availability, number of activities, climate, and Instagram engagement. Any location scoring below 60 for safety was automatically penalised.

Whilst the United Arab Emirates topped the list with a perfect score and 19,700 hotels, Asian countries occupied 8 of the top 10 spots, with Singapore amongst them.
