Singapore is the sixth best getaway for baby boomers

It had favourable conditions for security, cultural events, and restaurants.

Baby boomers or people aged 51 to 69 are likely to enjoy Singapore over any other generation during the weekend, as the city scored sixth in travel website weekengo's best destinations for the age group.

According to a study, the Lion City scored 90.88 in terms of the quality as a destination for baby boomers.

This means Singapore had a high average score across areas of security, cultural events, and restaurants.

Singapore had a lower score of 87.56 for millennials, placing it in rank 31. Its score for LGBT and women safety, concerts, clubs, bars were weighed for the age group.

Meanwhile, the city ranked 11th for families with a score of 90.29. Scores of security, museums & galleries, and cultural events weighed heavier for the age group.

Across all age groups, scores of accommodation, green spaces, walkability, and mobility were considered.

Overall, Singapore is the 27th best weekend getaway in weekengo's top 100.
