Singaporean passport ranked among the world’s best in terms of visa-free travel

Holders can visit 170 destinations without visa restrictions.

The Singaporean passport has been ranked as the world’s fifth-best when it comes to visa-free travel, according to Henley Global’s Visa Restrictions Index 2014.

Singapore has moved up from 6th place last year, and currently shares the fifth spot with New Zealand and Switzerland.

Finland, Germany, Sweden, the USA, and the UK all share the top spot. Citizens from these countries can visit 174 destinations without the need for a Visa.
