What industries are seeking more workers?

Indeed said job postings for childcare workers rose 51% in January.

Job portal Indeed said childcare and sports workers are now in demand in Singapore.

According to its recent study, postings for childcare and sports workers increased by 51% and 53%, respectively, in January.

Other industries which are looking for more workers include beauty & wellness (+9.4%), food preparation (+4.7%) and electrical engineering (+3.6%).

These industries are part of the 22% of occupational categories which experienced growth in job postings on Indeed’s platform over the past three months.

On the flip side, 60% of occupational categories saw a 5% decline in job postings from November to January.

The occupational categories that faced the sharpest decline in job postings over the past three months include therapy (-22%), scientific research (-20%) and mathematics (-19%).
