Bezos Centers in Singapore, US, and UK to receive $100m for protein innovation

It will focus on R&D of alternative proteins to meet the anticipated 50% increase in demand for animal protein.

The Sustainable Protein Innovation Sprint will invest over US$150m in alternative protein research and development (R&D), including US$100m for three Bezos Centers in Singapore, USA, and UK.

The sprint will galvanize technological support, and instrumentalize cooperation and partnerships from public and private sector actors.

The Singapore Bezos Center focuses on R&D of alternative proteins to meet the anticipated 50% increase in demand for animal protein by 2050.
