NTU and NUS renew agreement to share research equipment
The partnership provides researchers from both institutions with access to advanced infrastructure
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have renewed an agreement to share high-value research equipment and facilities.
The move is intended to enhance collaboration between the country’s two largest universities and strengthen Singapore’s position in global scientific research.
The partnership provides researchers from both institutions with access to advanced, multi-million-dollar infrastructure located across NTU and NUS campuses.
By consolidating resources, the initiative aims to support joint research efforts, increase co-authored publications, and improve competitiveness for research funding.
Examples of shared resources include NTU’s aberration-corrected transmission electron microscope, which allows atomic-level imaging and analysis of materials, and NUS’s Invizo 6000 3D Atom Probe microscope used for high-precision chemical mapping of materials.
