NTU leaps 15 places in Times Higher Education World University Rankings
It clinched the 61st spot this year.
The Nanyang Technological University leaped 15 places to 61st spot in the 2014 Times Higher Education World University Rankings published today.
NTU has made a quantum leap of 108 places in the last 3 years. This is also the second consecutive year that NTU scored full marks and maintained its No. 1 global position for industry income and innovation for industry income and innovation.
Last week, the university also took pole position in the Quacquarelli Symonds Top 50 Under 50 rankings, a league of young universities 50 years old or younger.
While the QS rankings focus on five criteria including academic and employer reviews, the Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings uses 13 performance indicators that cut across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
