Singapore leads global GenAI business adoption, customer trust trails behind

Whilst 59% of Singapore businesses use GenAI, only 23% of customers see it boosting their trust.

Singapore tops global generative AI (GenAI) adoption with 59% of businesses using it, Vodafone reported.

However, less than half, or only 45% of customers feel that companies use technology in a way that inspires trust and confidence.

Vodafone also revealed that only 23% of Singapore customers say that using GenAI will increase their trust in an organisation.

In addition, 65% of customers trust in businesses’ implementation of robust data privacy and security policies.

Vodafone surveyed 2359 businesses and 5289 individual customers across 10 markets and 11 key sectors of the economy. This includes 1760 customer respondents across Singapore, China, India, and Australia.
