CIMB Singapore to finance SESAMi's digital invoice system

Suppliers will be paid immediately on outstanding invoices within two business days.

CIMB Bank Berhad’s Singapore branch (CIMB) has partnered with SESAMi Holding and Capital Match to finance the SESAMi trading community’s digital invoicing workflow, according to an announcement

Suppliers on SESAMi will be paid immediately on their outstanding invoices on the platform within two business days as soon as they are on-boarded to the supply-chain financing program. Previously, the process takes as much as two months, said CIMB.

SESAMi, an e-procurement platform in Singapore serving supply chain needs of companies like Singtel, SATS, and SIA, was also revealed to have acquired the invoice financing marketplace invoice financing Capital Match.

The process of onboarding is simplified as e-invoices can be selected via the SESAMi platform, with no need to submit any physical invoices, the announcement added.
SESAMi’s integrated procure-to-pay and supply chain financing will also allow suppliers to access lower cost of funds.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
