Singtel pilots cloud networking platform Liquid-X

It aims to streamline network management by fusing multi-cloud access.

Singtel has floated Liquid-X, a cloud-based networking platform which streamlines network management by integrating multi-cloud access, analytics and security, a statement read.

The service hopes to grant enterprises with centralised control, flexibility, and scalability to manage their different networks around the world. It is supported by Singtel’s worldwide points-of-presence network infrastructure and partnerships with major public cloud and cloud-based software providers.

Through Singtel’s self-service portal MyConnect, Liquid-X’s analytics function allows enterprises to centrally implement network policies, scale up network bandwidth, create new cloud connections on-demand, manage offices’ access into multiple clouds, and deploy cloud solutions where they are needed.

The platform is integrated with Singtel’s Managed Software-Defined Wide Area Network solution to provide round-the-clock performance monitoring, detection and response to any network anomalies. It also has a flexible pay-per-use pricing model which helps enterprises cut down fixed operating costs for connectivity that is not fully utilised.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
