AsiaPhos, China Mobile to build strategic AI and Data Centre partnerships in Southeast Asia
They target Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore data growth.
AsiaPhos Limited signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with China Mobile International Limited (CMI) on 9 February 2026, to explore opportunities in data centres and artificial intelligence (AI) computing services in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Under the terms of the LOI, CMI will introduce potential customers to AsiaPhos for data centre and AI projects, a press release said.
Should these introductions result in business, AsiaPhos will grant CMI priority for design, fit-out works, and the procurement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
The company stated that the partnership does not affect the proposed acquisition of Exquisite Mode Sdn Bhd, which was the subject of several announcements between September and December 2025.
The LOI may be terminated by either party with prior notice. AsiaPhos informed shareholders that the agreement provides no certainty of future transactions.
A copy of the LOI will be available for inspection at the company’s registered office at Keppel Bay Tower for three months, the press release noted.
