CTIC launches website for digital wellness

It uses a tool that assesses digital wellbeing based on digital social relations, health, consumption, employment and civic participation.

The Centre for Trusted Internet and Community (CTIC) launched the "Living Well Digitally" website at the National University of Singapore (NUS) to foster a balanced and informed digital lifestyle among individuals.

The website features a universal tool powered by DQ Institute where users can assess their digital wellbeing through a series of questions based on the Digital Wellbeing Indicator Framework (DWIF).

The DWIF spans across five digital wellbeing domains, including digital social relations, health, consumption, employment and civic participation.

Meanwhile, the website will also offer a curated repository of free educational resources, tips, and information accessible to its users.

“With the Living Well Digitally initiative, we're sparking a movement to educate and empower individuals in Singapore and worldwide to take ownership of their digital experiences and cultivate meaningful connections both online and offline," Audrey Yue, Deputy Director of CTIC, said.

“We hope to provide individuals, social workers, educators, tech corporations and policymakers with an instrument that can help everyone and anyone to 'live well digitally' in the digital age." Yue added.
