PDPC investigates Bukit Sembawang cyber incident for potential data breach 

The cybersecurity incident occurred on 13 August.

The Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) has begun investigating the cybersecurity incident that hit Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited on 13 August.

In a bourse filing, the company stated that the PDPC is investigating whether it breached data protection obligations stipulated under Section 50 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

The company's board said it will keep track of the investigation and notify shareholders of any material developments.
