Singapore-based startup Appboxo raises $1.4m in seed funding round

The company was established in 2019 through the Antler Singapore program.

Singapore-based mini app company Appboxo announced that it raised $1.4m (US$1.1m) during its seed funding round.

The funding round was led by 500 Durians, Plug and Play Ventures, Antler, and FF APAC Scout.

According to several media reports, Appboxo plans to use seed funding raised to scale its platform and further develop its proprietary technology whilst planning to add new mini apps in several industries such as travel, e-commerce, and finance.

Established in 2019, Appboxo is a company that provides mini apps to accompany other company’s apps. It provides developers with tools to make dynamic, performant, and customised mini apps. Several of its partners are Zalora, Klook, and Booking.com.
