Venture Corporation revenue drops 21.7% in FY23

The group registered a net profit of $270m.

Venture Corporation Limited reported a revenue of $3,025b for the fiscal year 2023 (FY23), down by 21.7% year-on-year.

The decline was attributed to softer demand across its technology domains and customers’ inventory destocking.

Amidst the revenue decrease, the group registered a net profit of $270m for FY2023, resulting in a net margin of 8.9%.

Operating cash flow before working capital changes amounted to $331.4m for the fiscal year.

The directors proposed a final dividend of $0.50 per ordinary share on a one-tier tax-exempt basis for FY2023.

Combined with the interim dividend of $0.25 per share paid in September 2023, the total dividends for FY2023 will stand at $0.75 per share.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
