Top five industrials stocks averaged total return 34.1% YTD

CITIC Envirotech leads the pack with a total return of 44.9%.

The five best-performing industrial stocks have posted an average total return of 34.1% YTD, according to an SGX report. This brought their three-year average total return to 34.9%.

CITIC Envirotech leads the pack with a total return of 44.9%. This is followed by SBS Transit at 41.9%, Vicom 35.7%, SIA Engineering at 28.4% and ST Engineering 19.4%.

Meanwhile, the ten best performing industrial stocks recorded an average total return of 21.9% YTD, with a three-year average total return of 19.2%. Amongst them are ComfortDelGro (17.8%), Keppel Corp (17.3%), SATS (10.4%), Singapore Post (4.2%) and Singapore Airlines (-1%).

These ten stocks have a combined market cap of nearly $55b and are involved in segments such as industrial conglomerates, construction & engineering, air freight & logistics, transportation, aerospace & defence, human resource & employment services and diversified support services.

The industrial sector is said to be the top net buy sector in November, garnering net institutional inflows of $112.4m. This reversed net outflows of $25.7m and $17.8m in October and September, respectively.
