Chart of the Day: Transport engineering production slipped 10.8%

It was the only cluster which did not show growth.

This chart from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) shows manufacturing output for the transport engineering cluster slipped by 10.8% in September.

It was the only cluster which recorded a decline in output growth.

The output of the electronics cluster, which grew by 33.2%, boosted overall industrial production.

It was followed by the precision engineering cluster, which grew 15.4%, chemicals, which grew 9.5%, biomedical manufacturing, which grew, 8.0%, and general manufacturing, which grew 4.3%.
