ISDN Holdings' profit after tax rises 11% in 9M

Higher revenue from its manufacturing and hydropower plants drove the growth.

ISDN Holdings Limited recorded a profit after tax of $8.455m in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, representing a year-on-year rise of 11%, amidst higher revenue from its manufacturing and renewable energy businesses.

ISDN’s revenue for the period reached $319.8m, a 21% increase from the previous year.

The firm’s profit attributable to shareholders stood at $3.576m, a 2% decrease from $3.650m last year.

ISDN’s automation business grew 8.6% YoY during the period, as manufacturers in China and Southeast Asia continue to upgrade industrial and manufacturing automation, the firm said.

Its hydropower business accounted for 13.5% of revenue as it increased to $43.1m in 9M2025, from $7.7m in the preceding period.

The growth was attributable to the construction revenue from mini-hydropower plants from Lau Biang 2 and Lau Biang 3, alongside continued contributions from the three operational plants that delivered stable and recurring income, ISDN said.
