SABIC opens $220m resin manufacturing facility in Singapore

The facility boosts SABIC's specialty resin capacity production by over 50%.

SABIC has opened a $220m resin manufacturing facility in Singapore, its first advanced specialty chemical manufacturing site there.

The new facility aims to increase SABIC's global ULTEM™ specialty resin production capacity by over 50% to respond to the growing demand from high-tech and manufacturing industries in Asia-Pacific, including Japan and China.

It will cater to high-tech sectors, such as aerospace, healthcare, 5G, artificial intelligence, and electric vehicles, which require high-performance materials​.
