SFC and CIIP to advance sustainability practices across fashion supply chains

The partners will focus on three key initiatives.

The Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) and the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP) will collaborate on boosting supply chain sustainability within the fashion industry, with an emphasis on empowering micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The partnership aims to equip fashion and textiles MSMEs with practical tools and support to integrate sustainability into their operations, strengthening resilience and competitiveness across supply chains.

Under the memorandum of understanding (MOU), SFC will lead the development and implementation of three key initiatives to support the sustainability transformation of the fashion and textiles sector, with CIIP contributing insights and ecosystem-building support.

These initiatives include a sectoral plan identifying key challenges and strategic priorities for the local and regional fashion industries; a resource guidebook offering practical roadmaps to help companies at different stages of their sustainability journeys; and a digital toolkit providing MSMEs with access to ESG tools to facilitate decarbonisation and broader sustainability practice adoption.
