Singapore Business Review opens nominations for the second Made in Singapore Awards and Designed in Singapore Awards 2018

Nominations will close on 6 July 2018.

The Singapore Business Review Made in Singapore Awards and Designed in Singapore Awards are back in their second year to recognise excellent products in Singapore.

Both awards programmes are open to all companies in Singapore that produce business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) products. Products that are manufactured in Singapore can be nominated for the Made in Singapore Awards. Meanwhile, products that are conceptualised by a Singapore-based office but are manufactured outside the country, can be nominated for the Designed in Singapore Awards.

To be eligible for the awards, the product has to be manufactured by a Singapore-registered company and has to be publicly released over the last 24 calendar months.

Products which are launched prior to the said period can still be nominated as long as they have undergone major improvements recently.

Manufacturing firms can choose from over 50 industry categories to send their entries to. Awards will be given for each category.

A panel of industry experts will judge the products based on branding, unique selling points, product effectivity, and customer satisfaction.

Nomination is free, but winning companies will be required to attend the Awards Dinner and book any of the winners' package options.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
