Spindex sees 6.5% rise in net profit to $6.8m in H1 FY2025

Gross profit increased by 8.9% to $18.8m.

Spindex Industries Limited’s net profit increased by 6.5% to $6.8m in H1 FY2025, according to a bourse filing.

Gross profit increased by 8.9% to $18.8m, and its gross profit margin also improved to 20.4% in H1 FY2025 from 19.6%.

The group achieved a revenue growth of 4.7% to $92.3m in H1 FY2025 over the preceding half year.

The Machinery and Automotive business segment recorded growth of 3.9% with higher shipments to existing and new customers.

In FY2024, customers in the Imaging & Printing business segment experienced a degree of overstocking, and as inventory was reduced during the said period, orders rebounded in H1 FY2025 for revenue growth of 20.6% off a relatively low base.

Meanwhile, the Consumer Products & Others business segment comprises a larger number of items with mixed performance, with overall revenue remaining stable.
