Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 1.51%

OCBC Bank led the gains amongst top active stocks with a 2.32% expansion.

The Straits Times Index ended 47.80 or 1.51% higher at 3,223.37.

The top active stocks were DBS, which inched up 1.32%, Singtel, which grew 1.21%, OCBC Bank, which jumped 2.32%, UOB, which rose 1.55%, and SGX, with a 1.66% growth.

The FTSE Mid Cap rose 1.43% whilst the FTSE Small Cap expanded 0.85%.
