Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 1.8%

SGX led the gains amongst top active stocks with a 6.37% expansion.

The Straits Times Index ended 50.17 or 1.8% higher at 2,832.54.

The top active stocks were DBS, which inched up 1.61%, UOB, which grew 2.05%, Singtel, which jumped 2.49%, OCBC Bank, which rose 2.10%, and SGX with a 6.37% expansion.

The FTSE Mid Cap advanced 2.02% whilst the FTSE Small Cap inched up 1.36%.
