Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 3.4%

OCBC Bank led the gains amongst top active stocks with a 3.94% jump.

The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 81.3 or 3.4% higher at 2,470.59.

The top active stocks were DBS, which rose 2.68%, OCBC Bank, which jumped 3.94%, Singtel, which inched up 1.16%, UOB, which grew 3.62%, and SGX with a 2.64% expansion.

The FTSE Mid Cap grew 2.85% whilst the FTSE Small Cap edged up 2.29%.
