SPH saw the sharpest decline amongst top active stocks with a 12.33% contraction.

The Straits Times Index ended 4.49 or 0.18% lower at 2,510.75.

The top active stocks were ComfortDelGro, which decreased 4%, SATS, which plunged 5.67%, SPH, which crashed 12.33%, UOB, which inched down 1.71%, and Singtel with a 0.8% contraction.

The FTSE Mid Cap rose 1.35%, whilst the FTSE Small grew 3.32%.
