Jardine C&C’s net profit rises 12% YoY to US$740m in FY22

Given the increase, the board proposed a 39% YoY higher dividend per share.

With higher contributions across its portfolio, Jardine Cycle & Carriage ended FY22 with a 12% YoY higher net profit of US$740m.

Apart from net profit, Jardine C&C’s revenue and underlying profit also improved in FY22, rising 23% YoY to US$21.8b and 39% to US$1.1b, respectively. 

Given the company’s strong performance for the year, the board proposed a final dividend of US¢83 per share (+39% YoY) for FY22.

Chairman Ben Keswick said he expects Jardine C&C to face challenges ahead arising from uncertainties around the global economic outlook, but remains confident in the company’s prospects.

“It is well-positioned to achieve sustainable growth through the opportunities in Southeast Asia,” the chairman added.
