Singapore is 3rd in Asia with most unicorn startups: study

Singapore unicorn companies have an average valuation of $5.93b.

Singapore ranks 10th in the global unicorn landscape with 15 unicorn companies worth a total of $88.9b, according to data from FOREX.com and CB Insights.

Singapore unicorn companies have an average valuation of $5.93b, the highest globally.

In Asia, Singapore ranks 3rd, following China and India. Despite that, Singapore holds 2% of the total unicorn valuation worldwide.

The industries that bring the highest valuation in the unicorn landscape are enterprise tech, financial services, and consumer and retail. 

Meanwhile, media and entertainment, and insurance startups have the lowest valuation globally.
