Venture capital firm Antler raises $67.4m in funding

Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin was amongst the new investors in the round.

Startup generator and early stage venture capital firm Antler has raised $67.4m in its latest funding round, an announcement revealed.

Amongst the new investors are Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Elaine Saverin as well as philanthropist Christen Sveeas via his investment company Kistefos. European investment company Canica International and Japanese financial services company Credit Saison also joined the funding round.

Since its launch in Singapore in 2018, Antler has invested in over 120 companies including robot management solutions Cognicept, telecommunications company Airalo, and Indonesian beauty and wellness startup, Base.

Antler is presently running its programmes in eight global locations and is set to launch in Jakarta in 2020.
