7 Singapore firms earn spots on Forbes Asia’s 2024 Best Under A Billion list

SGX, Aztech Global, and Delfi were amongst those that made the list.

Seven Singapore-listed firms made Forbes Asia’s 2024 Best Under A Billion list, recognising the top 200 publicly-listed small and medium-sized companies in the Asia-Pacific region, with annual sales below US$1b.

Amongst them, the Singapore Exchange had the highest market value at US$7.7b, followed by Aztech Global (US$557m), Delfi (US$388m), and Credit Bureau Asia (US$162m).

Rounding out the list were Old Chang Kee (US$66m), Choo Chiang Holdings (US$56m), and Eggriculture Foods (US$23m).

Forbes Asia selected candidates from over 20,000 listed companies based on a composite score reflecting their track record in debt, sales, earnings-per-share growth, and returns on equity over recent one- and three-year periods.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
