Business China taps Kwek Poh Heok as new CEO

She will assume the role of CEO (Designate) from 27 May and transition to CEO on 1 July.

Business China has appointed Kwek Poh Heok as chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from 1 July.

Kwek will succeed Ho Chee Hin, who will be returning to the public sector. She will assume the role of CEO (Designate) from 27 May.

Prior to joining Business China, Kwek spent 18 years in the Singapore public service, serving in various roles and ministries. She also oversaw global government relations at a NASDAQ-listed global technology company.

Kwek also worked in China across government, corporate, and public-private contexts, having held roles at Standard Chartered Bank Shanghai and the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd.
