Buyback consideration surges 80% in 9M 2025

The consideration tally was led by UOB ($561m).

Buyback consideration has surged to $1.65b in the nine months since the start of the year, up 80% over the same period last year.

Excluding off-market share, secondary-listed companies and S-REITs buybacks, 76 primary-listed companies bought back shares through open market acquisitions.

The consideration tally was led by UOB ($561m), DBS ($371m) and OCBC ($349m).

Beyond the STI stocks, the tally was led by Olam ($21m) and Raffles Medical ($12m).
