DISA reallocates Rights issue proceeds amidst working capital needs

Board shifts $615,000 from expansion allocation.

DISA Limited reallocated $615,000 of net proceeds from its Rights cum Warrants Issue to general working capital on 26 January 2026, following a board review of the group’s operating environment and cash flow, according to a filing.

The reallocation moved funds away from the business growth, acquisition and expansion category to meet current working capital requirements, according to the announcement.

General working capital recorded an unutilised balance of $665,000, while the business growth, acquisition and expansion category recorded an unutilised balance of $200,000, the company reported.

Further utilisation of general working capital totalled $313,000, comprising $275,000 for non-trade payables and $38,000 for staff salaries, according to the disclosed breakdown.

Total net proceeds from the Rights cum Warrants Issue amounted to $3.047m, with $865,000 remaining unutilised as at the announcement date.

The board said it will provide periodic updates as the balance is materially disbursed.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
