Lion-OCBC Securities low carbon ETF to make SGX debut

The ETF tracks the iEdge-OCBC Singapore Low Carbon Select 50 Capped Index.

OCBC Securities and Lion Global Investors’ low carbon Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) will make its debut on the  Singapore Exchange (SGX) on 28 April.

This marks the third ETF listed on the local bourse by  Lion Global Investors in collaboration with OCBC Securities, following the listing of Lion-OCBC Securities Hang Seng TECH ETF and Lion-OCBC Securities China Leaders ETF whose total assets under management (AUM) is nearing almost $400m.

The Lion-OCBC Securities Singapore Low Carbon ETF tracks the iEdge-OCBC Singapore Low Carbon Select 50 Capped Index, which was launched on 14 March.

The ETF was initially offered from 11 April to 22 April. It’s available in Singapore dollar (SGD) and US dollar (USD) denominations.

Upon listing in the SGX, the new ETF allows investors to buy much smaller lot sizes of just 1 unit at a time.
