SGX grants Boustead extension following delisting notice

BSL has until 14 November 2023 to comply with SGX’s notice.

Boustead Singapore Limited (BSL) was granted a 45-day extension by the Singapore Exchange Regulation Pte. Ltd. (SGX RegCo) to provide updates on its exit offer proposal.

The extension was announced on 3 October. BSL has until 14 November. Initially, BSL was given until 26 September to comply with listing rules.

BSL and Boustead Projects Limited (BPL) are required to announced their half year financial results within 45 days from 30 September. However, BSL is unable to provide an update at this juncture and has sought an extension from SGX RegCo to provide updates after the H1 FY2024 Results have been released.

The extension was granted by the SGX under two conditions. One, the company is required to provide a progress update on its compliance within two weeks from the date of the extension, and two, the company must disclose reasons for seeking extension.

The company will keep shareholders informed of any developments and will make further announcements when appropriate.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
