CFM Holdings to propose adopting new constitution
The proposed adoption is subject to the approval of the shareholders.
CFM Holdings Limited is proposing to shareholders to adopt a new constitution at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to be held on 29 October 2025, according to a bourse filing.
The new constitution will incorporate, amongst others, changes to the Companies Act 1967 of Singapore, including the Companies Act 2014, aimed at reducing regulatory burden on companies.
It will also include the Companies Act 2017, which reduces compliance costs and administrative burden, and the Companies, Business Trusts and other Bodies Act.
The proposed adoption is subject to the approval of the shareholders. Upon approval, it shall take effect from the date of the EGM.
