Condo rental prices edges up 1.5% MoM in July
Overall rental prices also increased by 3.1% YoY.
Condo rental prices increased by 1.5% month-on-month (MoM) in July, with CCR, RCR, and OCR seeing a rise of 0.6%, 1.1%, and 2.1%, respectively, according to 99.co and SRX report.
Year-on-year (YoY), overall rental prices increased by 3.1%. During the same period, CCR, RCR, and OCR increased by 3%, 2.5%, and 2.7%, respectively.
Rental volumes jumped 30.2% MoM as an estimated 8,691 units were rented during the month. OCR accounted for 39.1% of rentals, RCR 33.1%, and CCR 27.8%.
Meanwhile, HDB rental prices increased by 3.2% YoY.
Prices in mature and non-mature estates increased by 3.5% and 2.8%, respectively.
By room type, rental prices for 3-room, 4-room, 5-room, and executive flats rose 3.2%, 3.7%, 2.2%, and 3.1%, respectively.
Rental volumes also increased by 4.6% YoY.
In July, 4-room flats made up 38.3% of rentals, followed by 3-room at 30.7%, 5-room at 24.8%, and executive flats at 6.2%.
