Goh Wei Boon to helm GovTech

He was formerly the head of CSIT.

Goh Wei Boon will end his stint as Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) Chief Executive on 1 June, following his appointment at the Government Technology Agency (GovTech).

Goh will succeed Kok Ping Soon, GovTech's current Chief Executive, who will vacate the post following his appointment at the Singapore Business Federation.

During his tenure as CSIT's Chief Executive, Goh is responsible for applying and developing advanced digital technologies to support Singapore's security needs. 

Under Goh's leadership, CSIT developed into a central national agency developing digital capabilities to serve the cyber defense, counter-terrorism, and other critical needs.
