Hiap Seng Engineering employee dies in workplace accident

The fatal accident occurred at its workshop premises on 30 August 2025.


An employee of Hiap Seng Engineering, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hiap Seng Industries Limited, died at its workshop premises on 30 August 2025.

The group expressed regret over the tragic event and disclosed in their bourse filing that the relevant authorities have already been notified, and investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.

“The group remains firmly committed to strengthening its safety culture and will take all necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such incident,” the company said.
