Keppel REIT manager buys 49.38 million units as stake stays flat

Its direct holding rose to 264.08 million units after the on-market purchase.

Keppel REIT Management Limited increased its direct holding in Keppel REIT after acquiring 49.38 million units through an on-market transaction on 19 January 2026, whilst its 5.349% interest remained unchanged, according to a filing with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

The filing showed the manager’s direct interest rose to 264.08 million ordinary voting units from 214.70 million units before the transaction.

The filing stated that the acquisition did not involve any deemed interest before or after the transaction. Keppel REIT Management was notified of the change in interest on the same day as the purchase, according to the filing.

The units were acquired at a consideration of S$0.96 per unit through a market transaction, the filing showed.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
