Payment Options secures in-principle approval for MPI licence in Singapore

It aims to offer payment capabilities to SMEs.

Payment Options Pte Ltd has received an In-Principle Approval (IPA) for a major payment institution (MPI) licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

If granted a license, the payment solutions provider will be authorised to provide merchant acquisition, domestic money transfer, and cross-border money transfer services, according to a press release on 8 December 2025.

The company targets small and medium enterprises (SMEs), offering payment capabilities such as online payment gateways and QR code payments to merchants.
