Sing Lun CEO Mark Lee named SBF chairman through 2028
He was elected by the 13th council formed after the 24th AGM.
Sing Lun Industrial Pte Ltd CEO Mark Lee has been named chairman of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) for the 2026 to 2028 term.
Lee was elected by the 13th council, which was formed after the federation’s 24th annual general meeting on 24 June.
Lee pointed out that businesses are facing geopolitical tensions, rapid advances in artificial intelligence, and shifting trade patterns. “As Chairman of SBF, my priority is to ensure that businesses remain competitive, resilient and future-ready.”
The SBF outlined key focus areas such as shaping Budget 2027 recommendations, strengthening regional partnerships, expanding business support services, and helping companies build capabilities.
“We will work closely with businesses, government and industry partners to develop practical solutions, foster a pro-enterprise environment and help companies build the capabilities needed to innovate, internationalise and grow with confidence,” he added.
Meanwhile, Lee noted that Singapore’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2027 presents an opportunity to deepen regional economic integration.
The new council comprises 12 elected members, one co-opted member, and 11 representatives from trade associations and chambers, bringing the total to 24 council members.
It includes six new appointees, comprising three newly elected representatives and three trade association and chamber leaders.
