Singapore Airlines and The Club partner for points and miles conversion programme

This will also provide members access to exclusive packages and benefits.

Singapore Airlines’s lifestyle rewards programme Kris Flyer and HKT’s loyalty and digital commerce platform The Club collaborated to launch a two-way points and miles conversion programme.

In a joint statement, the companies said members of The Club and KrisFlyer can convert KrisFlyer miles to Clubpoints through SingaporeAir.com which would provide access to travel and lifestyle offerings and member-exclusive packages.

The Clubpoints can be also used to offset their spending on The Club or convert Cluboints to KrsiFlyer miles through The Club website to redeem rewards which include flights, hotel stays, car rental, and shopping, amongst others.

“By enabling our valued members to seamlessly convert their Clubpoints to KrisFlyer miles and vice versa, we are unlocking possibilities for them to access an extensive array of rewards and privileges,” Monita Leung, CEO of Digital Ventures at HKT said.

One KrisFlyer mile can be converted to 0.15 Clubpoint with a minimum of 3,000 KrisFlyer miles for each conversion and a maximum of 30,000 KrisFlyer miles that can be converted per member per calendar year.

Meanwhile, one Clubpoint is equivalent to 0.6 KrisFlyer mile, with a minimum of 100 Clubpoints, and in minimum blocks of 10 Clubpoints, thereafter, for each conversion. A maximum of 10,000 Clubpoints can be converted per day and 100,000 points per member annually.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
