StanChart, Atome lender-of-record partnership book 100,000 transactions

Atome customers who successfully activate their new StanChart credit card will receive S$250 in Atome+ points.

Standard Chartered Singapore and buy now pay later Atome have booked 100,000 transactions under their Lender of Record partnership that kicked off in April 2023.

Standard Chartered and Atome will co-create and offer a wide suite of mobile-first consumer payment solutions and financial services.

As part of the launch, Atome customers who are also new Standard Chartered credit card holders will receive S$250 in Atome+ points upon successful card activation.

The customers can also register to join the 1 million KrisFlyer Miles Giveaway. New card holders of the Standard Chartered Journey Credit Card, the bank’s new mass- affluent miles credit card, can score additional bonus chances for this giveaway.

Early results from their partnership demonstrates strong customer growth, according to Standard Chartered, putting it on track to exceed its target customer growth of 20% for its unsecured loans business by the end of 2023.

Standard Chartered and Atome are also gearing up to launch the partnership in Malaysia, after the successful roll out in Singapore and in Indonesia.
